Man, do we MISS the RIDE!

B.J. started riding motorcycles in 1976, purchasing a used 1974 Suzuki 250GT, 2-stroke street bike to commute to work and back. A couple of years latter I bought a 250 Can-AM TNT (Tour and Trail) dual purpose machine but found out I wasn't a very good "off-road rider"! In 1987 We bought our first serious road bike, a leftover 1983 Yamaha XS650SK Heritage Special. Over the next 6 years and 80,000 miles, we rode "2-up" and fell in LOVE with being RIDERS. Up to early 2006, B.J. has ridden many different styles and brands of motorcycles and put on several "hundred thousand" road miles during "30 years" of riding. From 87 to 92 Jo was a "the best" co-rider/passenger there was, then in late 1992, she got the bug to ride, her own bike and we bought her a 1987 Honda 250 Rebel LTD. from 1992 to 2006 she worked up to riding 750/800cc cruisers. Alas, in early 2006 our last bike had major problems we couldn't afford to fix so the friend we were buying it from, took it back . Since that time we've not been able to get another motorcycle "financied" due to our credit or save enough cash to buy a "roadworthy motorcycle", due to our income level. We surely hope we can get back to being "RIDERS" again one day, Our newest "Road Dream" is to get both Jo and I "Honda GoldWing TRIKES", yes it's a BIG dream but why DREAM small! ;)
